FLIPGIVE REWARDS PROGRAM

MHA has set up FlipGive for all the teams in the association this year as a way to earn funds for our team accounts to offset tournament costs. Super easy to use, you just shop online through the FlipGive App or online and participating companies give cash back that will be deposited into our team account. You can use it for buying everything from gear (Pure Hockey, Goalie Monkey, Shock Doctor, Dick's, etc. give cash back), to clothes (Nike, Under Armour, Macy's, Old Navy, Adidas), Groceries (Walmart, Sam's Club, Kroger, Giant Eagle), travel (Hotels.com, Major hotel brands, etc.), and Eating Out (Starbucks, Olive Garden, Taco Bell, etc.). The best part is it costs us nothing and we don't have to sell anything!

Please join FlipGive by clicking HERE. You can also send this link to family and friends who want to support our team.

Although the season is over, you can continue to earn money for next season by setting up a personal account. When the season starts, you can transfer all your earnings to your team.

2023-2024 MHA Fundraising Opportunities

MHA offers several fundraising options for our families to help reduce their registration fees. These include WVU Football Concessions, Team Sponsorships, and Team Fundraising.

1) WVU HOME FOOTBALL GAME CONCESSIONS

MHA families may earn credit toward their MHA accounts by volunteering to sell concessions at the WVU Home Football Games. Training is required prior to the first home football game. Volunteers must be 18 or over. After the final home football game, MHA receives a percentage of profits earned from all concession sales and divides the profit among the families who volunteered. The percentage of the profit earned depends upon the number of games the family worked and will be credited to that family’s registration fees.

2) TEAM SPONSORSHIPS

MHA families may obtain sponsorships from family members, employers or local businesses. As an additional incentive for going out and soliciting a team sponsorship, a family may request that an portion of the sponsorship money (any amount from 0% to 50% of the sponsorship money*) be credited directly towards the family's MHA fees. The remaining money will then be allocated to the MOHAWKS, an MHA team of your choice, or to MHA if the sponsorship is being allocated towards house jerseys. All donations may be tax deductible (check with your tax advisor) and receipts will be provided upon request. Sponsorship forms are available to download below.

   * Revised MHA policy as of 7/25/2021

3) TEAM FUNDRAISING

Occasionally, teams may wish to do their own fundraising. This is certainly acceptable, however, individual team fundraising requires approval by the chairman of the Fund Raising Committee to ensure that the activity is consistent with the mission and goals of MHA and does not conflict with the Association's other fundraising programs.

Note: Any "refund of credit" requests cannot exceed the amount of money paid out-of-pocket for the family's present season's fees.
